When we think about Allah’s test, we understand that we are here because Allah wants to test our minds, faith, and morals in this life. God Almighty's first Test was for Satan, the angels,and Adam Peace Be Upon him, to put them in the correct stages. After that was the time for prophets, Imams, and all people that came before us. Everybody should be tested by God Almighty. So now is the time for us to be in this test, and to understand this test, we need to know everything about Adam, Angels and the satans testing.
When God created Adam, peace be upon him; Allah told the Angels and satan to submit to Adam and follow him until they could reach perfection. First, Angels think that they are managing the affairs of this universe, obeying Allah’s commands and prohibitions, worshiping and sanctifying God day and night. But Adam is created now and does not do any of those worships. They also live in a world of mind, and Adam will live in the material world under all worlds, so why do they need to follow Adam?
Adam was created from clay, and the angels were created before by light, therefore light is better than clay.
But when they knew that god almighty is justice. He does not oppress any of his creatures; he is wise and does not order without reason. Then, they all prostrate to Adam without any objection or question.
When it comes to the Devil, he just saw that Adam is from clay, and satan is from fire, he thinks he is better than Adam; So he refuses to prostrate to Adam.
From that time on, Angels passed the divine test, But the Devil has become expelled from God's mercy.
This real story is not just to know what happened to them, Because Allah does not want to tell us a story without purpose. Allah wants to tell us when he tests Angels, Devil and prophets, that means I will do the same to you because you are here for a test also.
The essential characteristics that made Satan disobey God's commands are arrogance and envy. Because Satan imagined that he was better than Adam and that God had made a mistake when he asked him to prostrate to Adam, Adam did not deserve this standing.
As for the angels, because they prostrated to Adam, peace be upon him; They deserve to ascend to perfection. And God commanded Adam, peace be upon him, to teach them the causes of this universe and what is in it.
When we know our status, we can learn more, and when we imagine that we are at the peak of perfection, we will stop moving and become like Satan.
So we must be careful in this world so that we do not choose a path as Satan chose, but rather that we follow what the angels did so that we rise every day from a degree to a higher one.
